Jyothika’s Kaatrin Mozhi Teaser from 20th Sept
Teaser of Jyothika’s upcoming flick Kaatrin Mozhi will be released on 20 September.
It was recently announced that the editing of the film directed by Radha Mohan of Mozhi fame was completed. The first look poster of was also released recently.
The movie is the remake of Hindi flick Tumhari Sulu which had Vidya Balan playing the lead role. The makers have announced that the flick will be released on Jyothika’s birthday on 18 October.
The movie is bankrolled by Dhananjayan’s BOFTA Mediaworks. Vidharth plays Jyothika’s husband in the movie. A R Rahman’s nephew AH Kaashif is the music director.

Chekka Chivantha Vaanam gets U/A Censor certificate
Many of us know Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivandha Vaanam will be released on 28 September. Now the makers have said that the flick has been cleared by the censor board with U/A certificate.
The multi starrer movie has a huge star cast including Arvind Swami, Jyothika, Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Arun Vijay, Aishwarya Rajesh and Aditi Rao Hydari.
Arvind Swamy and Jyothiaa will be playing husband and wife in the movie. The trailer of Chekka Chivantha Vaanam was released recently. The trailer looked action packed and the movie seems to be the struggle of power between siblings.
The film which was originally slated to be released on 28 September has been advanced by a day and will be releasing on 27 September.
Music for the movie is by A R Rahman. Soon after the trailer was released recently, there was a buzz that it was about a prominent political family in Tamil Nadu. But the claim was denied by the movie’s makers.

Kanne Kalaimane gets U censor certificate
The first look poster of Kanne Kalaimane starring Udhayanidhi and Tamannaah was released recently. The movie is directed by Seenu Ramasamy and has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
The latest update about the flick is that it has been censored with a clean U certificate.
It is said that Tammannah plays a bank manager in the movie while Udhay is a farmer.
Following this, Udhayanidhi is expected to play the lead role in a movie directed by Atlee’s associate director Enoch.
It was said Priya Bhavani Shankar and Indhuja, both of Meyaadha Maan fame, will play the female leads in the movie. However, some sources say that the film has been dropped.

It wasn’t just a dream come true for the little painting wizard Dinesh from Theni affected with muscle dystrophy, but an inspiring moment. The young boy from Theni was prone to muscle dystrophy. While health conditions remained quite pitiable, he has been fighting with his immense will power and has proved himself to be a versatile painter. In fact, he has aspired to become one of the prominent painters that the world should look upon. The little boy had yet another dream of meeting his matinee-idol Suriya, which was even telecast through one of the satellite news channel. To the surprisal, his dream came true through Suriya fans club as he happened to meet the actor in Chennai today.
It wasn’t merely a meet and greet with his favourite actor Suriya, but his family of actors father Sivakumar and brother Karthi were present as well.

Director Thamira “Aan Devathai will Reflect a Close-Knit Reflection of Contemporary Society”

While fictional dramas often occupy our attention as a show time experience, there are movies reflecting the reality and gain its glorious reception. In particular, Samuthirakani has never failed to successfully prove of the latter classification with his consistent success as an actor and filmmaker. This film has been titled as ‘Mr Majnu’. Akhil’s Grandfather Dr Akkineni Nageswara Rao did ‘Laila Majnu’ and Father King Nagarjuna did ‘Majnu’ in the past. Now for the third time Akkineni’s 3rd generation Hero Akhil is getting ready to repeat the magic as ‘Mr Majnu’.
First Look Teaser of the film is released on the occasion of Akkineni Nageswara Rao Gari Jayanthi. Akhil makes a stylish entry in the teaser while playing a foot tapping background song with lyrics ‘ Devadasu Manavado…Manmadhudiki Varasudo…Kaavyamlo Kaamudo…Anthakannaa Rasikudo..’ followed by a dialogue uttered by Akhil Akkineni “Excuse me miss..emitoo English bhaasha. Dennite miss cheyakudado daanne ‘miss’ annaru” which connects well with youth audience.
Akhil is all set to weave his charm with his Stylish Looks and Performance as ‘Mr Majnu’. Shoot is going on a brisk pace. Makers are planning to release the film in December. Nidhi Agerwal is pairing with Akhil Akkineni in this film.
