Actress Shirin Kanchwala speaks on “Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja”
Exhibiting her endowment of talents through modeling and acting across a year, Shirin Kanchwala has played the female lead role opposite Rio Raj in Sivakarthikeyan Productions’ ‘Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja’. With the film’s patch up works and post-production happening simultaneously, the actress has been over delighted about the great experience of working with this team.
Actress Shirin Kanchwala opens up saying, “I was working as an air hostess with Jet Airways for nearly 3 years. I am feeling really lucky that I got an opportunity to be associated with Sivakarthikeyan Productions. I am thankful to both Sivakarthikeyan sir and Karthik Venugopalan sir for giving me the chance to be a part of this film. The entire unit was so friendly to me and I could relish the joy of each and every moment in this film. It wasn’t just about Sivakarthikeyan-Karthik Venugopalan, but every artiste and technician in the film was really helpful and supportive to me. Rio Raj has given a remarkable performance and his acting skills are completely splendid. I have seen his TV shows and to see him perform here is absolutely fantastic for he accomplished even some tough scenes in single takes. It’s my first Tamil movie and so much focused on working on many projects that are script driven.”
While Rio Raj and Shirin Kanchwala are playing the lead roles in this film, the star-cast of Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja features Radharavi, Nanjil Sampath, RJ Vigneshkanth and few more familiar YouTube personalities in important roles.
The technical team comprises of Shabir (Music), U.K. Senthil Kumar (Cinematography), Fenny Oliver (Editor), Pradeep Kumar (Stunts), Dinesh (Costume Designer) and Kamalanathan (Art).
While 80% of the film will be a fun-filled comedy caper, it holds a strong message by the end, which the team believes will appeal to the universal audiences.

It’s farewell for Yogi Babu from ‘Zombie’ sets
Yogi Babu has been unceasingly working in many projects and one among them is Zombie, which has a star-cast comprising of almost all the famous online and YouTube personalities. The film revolves around a drama that happens in the span of a night time in the backdrops of a resort. The film has an ensemble star-cast involving yogi Babu, Yashika Anand, Gopi , Sudhakar , T.M. Karthik , Manobala, Anbudasan, Bijili Ramesh, John Vijay , Lollu Sabha Manohar, Chitra Akka and few others.
Yogi Babu has now completed shooting his portions, which almost wraps up the entire project except for a song that is pending to be completed. Major portions of the film are being shot across the resorts in the ECR. The film is schedule for release by the mid of this summer and has Premgi Amaran composing music with Bhuvan Nullan R directing it.
The film’s story takes place during a single night against the backdrops of Chennai-Pondicherry ECR road. With the shooting close on the heels of completion, the ‘Zombie’ team is keen on releasing the movie for this summer. Premgi Amaran is composing music for this film, which is directed by Bhuvan Nullan R . Vasanth Mahalingam and V. Muthukumar are producing “ZOMBIE” for Production House – S3 Pictures.

Prabhas Saaho gets distribution rights in Japan
Actor Prabhas’ fanbase is spread not only across India but world over. He has a huge fan following in many Asian countries including Japan and his past movies have done extremely well there. The actor even travelled to Japan for Baahubali’s promotions.
Prabhas’ Japanese fans, now, have another reason to celebrate. The star’s upcoming action movie, Saaho has got its distribution rights in Japan. Sources from the team have confirmed this news and said, “Saaho will be dubbed in Japanese for the audience there, and a countrywide release is planned after its release in India. Prabhas might also go to Japan again to promote the film and interact with his fans”
Director Sujeeth is helming this project which is being bankrolled by V Vamshi Krishna Reddy, Vikram Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the banner UV Creations. Saaho also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Evelyn Sharma in important roles.

GV Prakash’s Watchman Release on April 12
GV Prakash Kumar starrer Watchman is all set for a worldwide release on April 12. The team including producer Arunmozhi Manickam of Double Meaning Production, Editor Anthony, Actor Raj Arjun, actor Suman, PT Selvakumar, Director Vijay and GV Prakash Kumar were present:
Producer Arunmozhi Manickam of Double Meaning Production said, “Director Vijay sir has been illustrious for introducing many heroines who have become so famous and successful in the industry. We have made this film to offer as a good treat for family audiences. Although, it’s a thriller, the film will have sumptuous ingredients to savour the family audiences. I am really happy to have produced this film.”
PT Selvakumar who has been a major support for this film’s release said, “As soon as I decided to be a part of the film’s business, producer Arunmozhi sir asked to go for a limited release. He has always been concerned about everyone in the trade and wanted to be a benefit for all. We decided to release the film for this summer for we wanted to bring the kids and family into theatres for this vacation. The film is short and sweet with a crisp narration and the ones who have already watched the film have appreciated it.”
Editor Anthony said, “I thank the entire team for giving me an opportunity to work in the film. The best thing I liked about the film is how they have shot a film with dog. It’s a simple story, but the storytelling is incredibly good.”
Actor Raj Arjun said, “I am fortunate enough to be a part of this film. I thank the whole crew of this movie for giving me an opportunity. There are little dialogues in the film, but the impact will be definitely good.”
Actor Suman, “I thank Vijay sir and Arun sir for making me a part of this project. I am happy to get a role that is so much apt for my age. Tamil cinema has always been special to me. Although I am settled in Hyderabad, I never miss to watch the Tamil movies, especially the ones made by Vijay. Films like this can happen only in Tamil cinema for they are really talented on par with Hollywood movies. Vijay’s smart planning made the film complete on time. GV Prakash sir has done remarkable job and I have been a great follower of his music, but this acting skills are really great. He will be definitely a different and unique hero in the future. This will be definitely a different one and will set to be an example for such movies in the near future. The technical department has done something really bigger on par with Hollywood.”
Director Vijay said, “Producer Arunmozhi Manickam sir and I have been close friends for past 5 years. I am elated to have got got an opportunity to work with him. Everyone in the film have given their best. Raj Arjun sir has become the busiest person in Bollywood now and I feel lucky to work with him again after Thaandavam. Suman sir immediately responded to our approach. His combination scenes with Raj Arjun and GV Prakash are so much commendable and I really want to work more with him. GV Prakash has been the most important person for we have journeyed together in many movies. We have been friends beyond films and soon after working in Nachiyar, I really felt that it would be great to work him as an actor. As an actor, he has grown so much and would instantly emote as the script demanded. Samyuktha Hegde is being launched as heroine in this film.”

Comedy King Brahmanandam is all set to make his re-entry with a bang. He will be playing the lead role in writer Sreedhar Seepana’s next directorial.
