Arun Vijay-Vijay Antony-Akshara Haasan starrer “Agni Siragugal” has evidently become one of the most expected films of the season. From the most dashingly spectacular star-cast and the exotic locales across the globe, where it is being filmed, the movie has clasped a top position in the watch list of audiences already. Having worked on long schedules, the film has now reached the final leg of shooting. The first schedule was filmed across the busiest lanes of Chennai and Kolkata, where high octane action sequences were filmed. Apparently, the second leg of shooting held at Moscow and St. Petersburg in Russia followed by Almaty in Kazakhstan. Surprisingly, this is the first ever time an Indian film is being shot in the locales of Kazakhstan, where audiences will get to see spellbinding visuals along with newfangled martial arts based action sequences, which will give jaw-dropping experience for them. With the film’s shooting close on the heels of completion, producer T. Siva of Amma Creations is extremely happy about the way the film is shaped up. He is high on praises of filmmaker Naveen for this exceptionally brilliant narrative skills and technical packaging of the film. The producer affirms that “Agni Siragugal” will definitely get acclaimed as the best action-thriller made on International standards.

Agni Siragugal features Raima Sen, Prakash Raj, JSK and many more prominent actors as a part of this star-cast. The film has musical score by Natarajan Sankaran and cinematography handled by K.A. Batcha.

While actor Siddarth and ‘Kappal’ fame filmmaker Karthik G Krish are gearing up with the release of ‘Saithan Ka Bachcha’, they are now on the spree of offering on unheralded surprise. The duo has completed shooting for another film titled ‘Takkar’. Touted to be a romantic action drama, the film is close on the heels of completing the post-production work.

While many movies would start making waves of sensation by the time of announcement itself, “Takkar” has been an exceptional case, where it maintained low key till the final stage. Ask Karthi G Krish and he says, “This was an intentional decision by our entire team. We wanted to keep the film away from public glare till the final stages. We kick-started the shooting in February and are almost done with the post-production work now. We are planning to release the film in January 2020.”

What absolutely throws yet another surprise is about a director-actor’s second collaboration even before the release of their first flick. Opining on this, Karthik says, “While shooting for Saithan Ka Bachcha, I narrated the gist of Takkar to Siddarth and he immediately asked me to develop it into full-fledged script. I must thank producers Sudhan and Jayaram who bankrolled by directorial debut ‘Kappal’ for coming forward to produce this movie.”

Divyansha Kaushik, who shot to fame for her performance in Telugu movie Majili has been paired opposite Siddarth in female lead. Speaking about the roles of lead artistes, he says, “The film is about two egoistic and hot-tempered characters, whose lives go through transformations after encountering each other. Although, Siddarth has been a part of action genre movies, Takkar will be quite different from them.” The others in the star-cast includes Abhimanyu Singh, Yogi Babu, Munishkanth and RJ Vignesh.

Nivas K Prasanna is composing music and Vaanjinathan Murugesan is handling cinematography for “Takkar” that has editing by Ga. Gowtham and art work by Udaya Kumar. The lyrics are penned by Umadevi, Ku. Karthik and Arivarasu. Dinesh Kasi (Stunts), Satish & Sridhar (Choreography), Priyanka Prithvirajan (Costumes), Tuney John (Design) and A. Kumar (Production Controller) are the other technicians. Sudhan and Jayaram are producing this film for Passion Studios.

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is celebrating his birthday today and on this occasion, the makers of his next unveiled a short video byte of the actor from the film that is directed by Sekhar Kammula. Chaitu plays the role of a middle-class guy who is simple, sweet and emotional. The short video byte promises to reveal the character essayed by
Chaitanya. Sai Pallavi is the leading lady in this romantic drama.

Like all true Shekhar Kammula films, Chay’s role looks close to reality and there is one scene that shows Chay in the teaser is captivating.

Anson Paul-Reba Monica John starrer ‘Mazaiyil Nanaigiren’ has carried a poetic significance of signifying a beautiful soulful love story with title itself. In addition, the first look offering a glimpse on the couple has intensified the depth of romance indeed. Speaking about this, debutant T. Suresh Kumar, director of the film says, “Yes, it’s a feel good love story, but has been treated with lots of maturity. Every character we see in the film will have a matured approach towards the situations and how they deal with it efficiently.” Love stories often become a raging hit when there’s a bittersweet climax, where the lovers are either separated through breakups or tragedy. Atharva Murali-Anupama Parameswaran starrer “Production No.3” directed and produced by R. Kannan in association with M.K.R.P Productions is now on the verge of completing the shoot. The crew will be flying down to Azerbaijan for a 15-day schedule.

Director Kannan says, “We are currently shooting across a huge set work of house erected in OMR. Following this, we will be heading to Azerbaijan for a 15-day schedule with which the entire shoot comes to an end.” Opining about the way, the film has shaped up, Kannan adds, “This entire project has been a different experience for me and Atharvaa. Both of us have been involved in action and thriller genres respectively in the recent years. Personally, I wanted to come back to the zone of feel-good love story from where I actually embarked on my directorial journey.
